JMB HAZMAT Consulting and Training Services was established in June of 2002 by Mike Brennan in League City, Texas. We offer training classes over the transportation of hazardous materials and dangerous goods, as well as other services such as hazmat audits, compliance assessments, and consulting on a variety of hazmat issues. JMB HAZMAT offers both, public training classes at local area hotels, and classes that are customized to meet your specific requirements, and conducted at your facility. We are located in the Houston/Clear Lake area, near the Texas City/Bayport/Deer Park chemical plant and refinery complexes and the NASA/Contractor community.
Every person who is involved in hazardous materials transportation safety must be trained. Human error is one of the primary causes of hazmat related accidents and incidents. In fact, many of the penalty actions initiated by DOT includes violations for lack of (or inadequate) training. The training that JMB HAZMAT provides is both, thorough and accurate. Our courses are continuously updated to ensure that the latest changes are covered and that you receive the most meaningful information available. The information is presented in an easy to understand format and course materials are designed to help the student after he or she returns to their workplace. Tests are designed to require the students to use the regulations, just as if they were preparing actual hazardous materials shipments on the job. In the unlikely event that a student does not achieve a passing grade, additional training will be provided at no additional charge and a new test will be given.
